The deadline for the 2010 Jonathan Lax Scholarship for gay men is fast approaching.
The Lax Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 by the late entrepreneur and inventor Jonathan R. Lax to encourage gay men—especially community leaders—to obtain higher education.

In 15 years the Jonathan Lax Scholarship Fund has distributed over $600,000 in scholarships, helping to make it possible for 129 scholars to pursue educational excellence.
Jonathan Lax started this fund to help gay men obtain positions through which they can contribute to society, be open about their sexual orientation, and act as role models for other gay men with similar potential.
Bread & Roses Community Fund administers the scholarship fund as a part of our larger mission for social justice in the Delaware Valley.
